Additionally, at the title screen where you choose to play the original Mario Bros. or Super Mario Bros, keep pressing Up then Down as fast as possible. It will look like the Mario standing near the Super Mario Bros. 3 sign is jogging.

Level select

Successfully complete the game (you can just use a warp whistle to get to World 8). You can now select any World you want to go to at anytime. If you complete all of the levels (including Hammer Bros., Toadstool Houses, and the casino-type game), you can play any level as many times as desired. This includes the Hammer Bros., the Toadstool Houses, the casino things, and even the fortresses and castles.

Extra lives

Start a new game, playing as both Mario and Luigi. Steal (exchange) all of Luigi's lives that you can (four). Pause the game, then select 'Save & Quit'. Reload that same game, playing as only Mario. He will now have nine lives, and Luigi will not be around. Note: You can execute this trick at any point in the game if you need a few extra lives. Additionally, successfully complete the game, then go to any world. Go to any spinner (casino). Play it until win an extra life. Repeat this as many times as desired.

Cape

Available only through an e-Reader, the Cape allows Mario or Luigi to fly indefinitely, as long as you continuously press Left to stay in the air.

Shadow

On the title screen after you select the Super Mario Bros. 3 game, look at the 3's shadow. It has a tail and an ear like Mario when he has the raccoon power.

Special stars

When you chose either Mario Advance or Classic, there will be stars over the Mario brothers part that are equal to how many millions of points your high score is. For example, a high score of 2,163,170 will have two stars.

Match Game

The Match Game will appear every time you earn a multiple of 80,000 points. (80,000, 160,000, 240,000, etc.). This a mini-game in which you have to match two of the same cards.

Coin ship

Use the following trick to make a coin ship appear on the map. End any level with both the coin and the last two numbers of the point total equal to any multiple of 11. The time also has to stop on an even number. For example, 55 coins and 009844 points. The coin ship is a ship full of coins and an extra life.

Flutes

A Flute can be found in World 1-3. Hop on the white block toward the end of the level and hold Down on the block for six seconds. Mario will drop down. Finish the level and you will be sent to a chest room containing a Flute. Also on the very first fortress that you encounter, you have to skip across some lava. After the lava, there is a block with a Feather in it, and one of those skeletons that cannot be defeated. Squash the skeleton quickly with the Raccoon Suit on, then get your 'P' all the way up so that you can fly. Fly up the right wall and you land on top. Go right until you cannot go further. Then, press Up as you would when opening a door. Inside there is a Flute that Toad gives you. You do not have to face Boom Boom.

The Flutes transport you to certain places, depending on what world you are in. If you are in World 1, it will transport you to the 2, 3, and 4 line. If you are in World 3 or 4, it will transport you to the 5 ,6, and 7 line. If you are in World 7, you can go to the bottom line that leads to World 8. World 2 is always random. If you use two flutes one after the other, you will automatically go to World 8. Note: Sometimes this may not be the exact method for when a flute is used, but 90% of the time it will be this way.

There is a Flute in World 2. Use the hammer you get from the Hammer Bros. on the rock in the top right corner. On the next screen, you will find a Fire Bros. Defeat it for a Flute.

Last World

Get the two Whistles found in World 1-3. Use the first one to get to World 7, then use the other Whistle to warp to World 8.

Infinite items

When you get an item you like in a Toad House, get a game over and try again. The Toad House can be done again.

Note: This trick requires an e-Reader. Scan the Super Leaf card that is included with the game when you have a connection with the e-Reader. You can keep scanning until your inventory is full.

Giant '?' block in World 3-5

Using the frog suit, you can get inside the second pipe on the bottom of the level (found about halfway though the level). Hold Right as you enter the pipe to get to where the giant '?' block is located.

Super Mario Brothers 3 Card Game Cheats

To work this cheat, you have to beat king koopa's (bowser) castle. Then you have to sit through the credits. After you go to the map select, press B to go back and pick the place you want to go to again.

After you beat the game you can play any of theaction panel levels when ever you want.

For the final boss battle with Bowser you willbe in a room with blocks holding the floor up.Every time Bowser jumps he crushes a group ofblocks. Dodge his attacks long enough to getBowser to break through the floor. After Bowseris gone walk through the door and complete the game.

You can kill a Boo with either a hammer or astarman.

Go to the upper right hand corner of the map. Use the hammeryou got from one of the Hammer Brothers to break the boulderand uncover a secret path. There will be a Mushroom House anda Fire Brother. Beat the Fire Brother to get the whistle.

Super Mario Brothers 3 Card Game Cheats Xbox 360

First go to level 1-2. Go about half-way throughthe level until there is a pirana plat by somecoins in the air. Below the plat there are twobricks, smah the one with the P block and smashit. While the coins are bricks, run up and go tothe right of the pirana plant. Jump and a 1-Upmushroom will pop up. Quickly grab the mushroomand go into the tunnel. When you come out of thetunnel, do this process over and over until timeruns out and you will have a bunch of lives.

You can tell that a brick will jump if it is notflashing. If it is NOT flashing, then it meansthat a little mushroom will jump out at you. If abrick is shiny, then it is a normal brick.

Get to 1-2. Then go almost halfway through thelevel where the piranna plant is. Get the P blockand go to the top of the tube. Stand a little tothe right and voila! You have an extra lifewhich, believe me, can come in handy!

First go to world 3-4. Go about halfway throughthe level until the likitu thing chases you. Goback to the piranna plant that shoots fireballsat you and grab a koopa shell. Once you've doneall of that, throw it between the two blocks sothat it bounces back and forth. Stand back andwatch the likitu throw the spikey things into it.The shell will then kill all of them and you willhave a lot of extra lives. It might take a fewminutes, but it's worth the effort!

To defeat The Angry Sun, you must be wearing theHammer Suit. Once you are wearing the HammerSuit, throw a hammer at The Angry Sun and itwill die.

To find the secret room in world 8-2, go to thefirst sinking sand, go in it and let your selfsink. When you at the bottom you will see yourself in a secret room with two pipes. Both pipeslead to different rooms. After you get out ofone of the pipes you just went in, you will endup near the end of the level.

To defeat a Roto-Disc you will need to bewearing a Tanooki Suit. After you have got aTanooki Suit, find a Roto-Disc and make it sothat it is underneath you. Right before it hitsyou quickly turn into the statue by holding theDown and B button. Once it hits from underneathyou as a staue, the Roto-Disc will be defeated.Incase you don't no what a Roto-Disc is, it'sthe diso balllike enemy that rotates around ametal ball.

In world 1-3 complete the level but before youreach the end you'll see a white platform with ared turtle on it. Kill the turtle then hold thedown button. after 4-5 seconds you will fallbehind the platform. Run right through to the endwithout jumping. When you reach the black endyou should go behind it into a secret Toad House.Jump down and take the stand infront of thechest.Hit the B button and you will get a whistle.

To do this you need to have a Racoon Suit. Onceyou have the Racoon Suit, go near the end of thefirst room you appear in. At the end of theroom, you should see a door and a Dry Bones.Quickly take out the Dry Bones and go near thedoor and run so you can fly until you can nolonger go up. While you're in the air, keepgoing right until you end up in a room with asmall chest holding a Warp Whistle. Once youhave the Warp Whistle you will not have to fightBoom, Boom. (the boss of the fortress)

To make Dry Bones disappear, make him into apile of bones and the walk across the screenuntil you can no longer see him. Then go backand he will be gone.

Super Mario Bros 3 Hacks

Once you've deafeted Bowser, you can select yourown world and redo the levels you've beaten inthe past, but you can't redo fortesses andcastles.

This trick is only done on Mario and Luigi Mode.To do this trick find a small m or l on the mapscreen, press the A button on it and startswapping lives using the controll pad. Thenpress the B button to get out.
